History of ICLA

Non-Profit Organizations That Shelter Indonesian Legal Practitioners

ICLA was initiated by 8 (eight) advocates who are deeply interested in the field of business competition in Indonesia. Since the discourse on amendments to Law Number 5 of 1999 on the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition, the founders of ICLA, who are practitioners of business competition law, felt the need for the government and legislators to listen to the aspirations of legal and economic practitioners regarding various practical problems in the implementation of Law Number 5 of 1999 on the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition, both on substantive and procedural laws.
Departing from there, ICLA was launched on 17 March 2017.
